WeatherWay — Privacy Policy

            Summary: WeatherWay does not collect personal data, does not track you,
            does not show ads, and does not require an account. Your privacy is fully respected.
        

1. Introduction

WeatherWay ("the App") is a route weather planning application that shows weather conditions along your driving route. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

Location Data

When you choose to use the "Current Location" feature, the App accesses your device's location only at that moment to set your starting point. We:

✓ Do Use your coordinates to geocode your starting point
✓ Do Process it entirely on-device and via direct API calls
✗ Don't Store your location on any server
✗ Don't Share your location with third parties for tracking
✗ Don't Collect location in the background

App Preferences

Your settings (language, temperature unit, distance unit) are stored locally on your device using standard device storage. This data never leaves your device.

What We Do NOT Collect

No personal information (name, email, phone)
No account or login required
No usage analytics or behavioral tracking
No advertising identifiers
No cookies or cross-site tracking

3. Third-Party Services

The App communicates with the following services to provide its functionality:

These are open, publicly available services. The data sent consists only of the geographic coordinates or place names you enter for route planning. No personal identifiers are included.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device. The App does not have a backend server or database. When you uninstall the App, all local data is automatically deleted.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.

6. Advertising & Tracking

            WeatherWay contains no advertisements and no tracking.
            We do not use any advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or user tracking technologies.
        

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
